	Last year's Celebration of Undergraduate Research & Creative Performance was held on Friday March 27, 2009. The event coincided with Admissions Junior Day. Junior Day is when approximately 250 prospective students and parents visit Hope College.
Hope's national reputation stems from its undergraduate research opportunities provided to our students. The Research Celebration is a perfect venue to show parents and prospective students the importance of hands-on experiences in a liberal arts setting. The event was open to the public and held in the Richard and Helen DeVos fieldhouse on Fairbanks Avenue.
	Over 170 research projects were presented last year representing approximately 300 students.
